The first step towards the construction of the submarine telescope KM3 just ended with the establishment of a tower 600 feet rooted to 2000 meters deep off the coast of Sicily. This telescope will observe neutrinos, elementary particles coming from the cosmos. Project Nemo (Neutrino Mediterranean Observatory) has taken a big step with the installation of the tower high as almost twice the Eiffel Tower, off Catania.
