One of the last space shuttle missions will carry a powerful particle detector, which could unravel some of the greatest mysteries of the universe.
The space shuttle program at NASA is nearing its end. With just about half a dozen flights to be made, the shuttle crew will put the finishing touches to the International Space Station (ISS), which will end twelve years of unprecedented construction in orbit.

A team at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) has developed a new system that would significantly improve the effectiveness of cooling methods for data centers. Cooling is an issue of great importance because, according to several studies, it is responsible for half the energy of such centers. Also increased steadily in recent years, the powerful servers, may now be hampered by too low cooling capacity, making it dangerous to install additional equipment.

When technology (The word technology has two meanings in fact:) space can find space, reduce pollution (pollution is defined as making an unhealthy environment. The definition varies according to context, depending on the environment. ..) and savings.
Nowadays, transportation (transportation from the Latin trans, beyond, and portare, carry, is wearing something, or someone from one place …) haulage trucks and containers is an activity (The term activity may designate a profession.) highly automated and optimized. The scanner color 3-D Cocos ( Contour Color Scan), developed by researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, provides a rapid and safe changes color or shape of a sample. The acquisition forms takes place through a process of optical laser cut and color through cameras. With the introduction of several detection sensors, it is possible to make full restitution of the sample in 3D. The frequency of horizontal extent, located in a field of 10 kHz, provides a resolution of 0.1 mm in each direction of space and scan at speeds exceeding 1 m / s.
